Tek Spade, the island’s most famous inventor, has spent the last year hiding in the shadows. It was only supposed to be a few weeks—just long enough that the press wouldn’t ask questions and his friends wouldn’t think he’d abandoned them. Turns out, grief doesn’t follow agendas.
When danger strikes, the brilliant “psychic” must step back into the world he tried to leave behind. The island’s magical stabilizers are failing, the council is watching, and Scarlett Locke—the girl he can’t stop thinking about—is caught in the middle. And he isn’t the only one competing for her heart.
As magic spirals out of control, Tek will have to rely on his inventions, his mind, and the choices he avoided for too long. One wrong move will decide who survives.
